About These Terms

Plain-English Rules — No Surprises

These terms cover how to use this website and what to expect when you ask us for an estimate, hire us for work, or share photos and reviews with us. We wrote them in plain English because we'd rather you actually read them than skim past a wall of legalese.

If anything's unclear, the same rule applies here as on a job site — call us, ask, and we'll explain it. We'd rather answer your question now than have you sign something you weren't sure about. Last updated April 29, 2026.

What's Covered

Seven Things to Know Before You Use This Site

Tap any pill below to jump to that section, or scroll straight through. Everything here applies to anyone using craftsmanroofingtristate.com or contacting us through it.

01 — Acceptance

By Using This Site, You Accept These Terms

When you visit craftsmanroofingtristate.com, request an estimate, or send us a message through any form on this site, you agree to these terms. By using the site you also confirm you're at least 18 years old, or that you're using the site under the supervision of someone who is. If you don't agree with something here, the simplest path is to stop using the site — but if you're confused or want to talk it through, call us at 201-218-2740 first. We'd rather sort it out over a five-minute conversation than lose your business over a misunderstanding.

02 — Website Use

Use the Site for What It's For

This website exists to help homeowners and property managers in New Jersey learn about our roofing services, request estimates, see our work, and contact us. You're welcome to browse, share links to our pages, and reach out as much as you want.

What you can't do:

  • Scrape contact info or run automated tools that hammer our forms
  • Attempt to break, probe, or stress-test our security
  • Impersonate another person or business when contacting us
  • Use the contact form for unrelated solicitation, sales pitches, or marketing
  • Post or send anything illegal through our contact channels

We log basic activity for security reasons — for the full picture on what we collect and why, see our privacy policy.

03 — Intellectual Property

Photos, Copy, and the Craftsman Roofing Name

The photos, written content, logos, and the Craftsman Roofing name itself are ours — either created by us, licensed to us, or used with permission. You can share links to our pages freely. You can't repackage our content, photos, or branding to represent your own business or to imply we endorse another company. Manufacturer logos shown on this site (GAF, Owens Corning, and others) belong to their respective owners and appear here under their certification programs. If you want to use any of our work in a publication, news piece, or partnership context, just ask — we usually say yes.

This site occasionally links to manufacturers, suppliers, and other third-party websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Visit them at your own discretion.

04 — Your Photos & Reviews

Reviews, Photos, and Anything You Send Us

When you send us a review, a job-site photo, or feedback through any form on this site or to a Craftsman Roofing email address, you give us permission to share it on our website, on Google, on social media, or in marketing materials — with your first name and city, but never your full address or phone number. If you'd rather we not use something you sent, tell us and we'll pull it down. You're responsible for what you send us — please don't submit anything that's not yours to share, and don't include other people's personal information in reviews or photos.

05 — Estimates & Calls

What an Estimate Is — and Isn't

When we give you a free estimate, that's a good-faith price based on what we can see during our walkthrough. If we open up your roof and find rot, structural damage, or other hidden issues, we'll stop, show you what we found, and give you a clear updated number before doing any extra work. We don't surprise-bill, ever.

When you give us your phone number on a form, you're inviting us to call or text you about your project. Our texts come from our actual phones — there's no automated text system on the back end. We won't sell or share your number, and we won't add you to a marketing blast. If you want to stop hearing from us, just tell us — reply STOP to a text, hang up, hit reply on an email — any of it works.

06 — Liability

Warranties, Liability, and the Website Itself

Your warranty comes from your contract — not from this website. Every project we do has its own written warranty, and warranty terms vary from project to project depending on the materials used, the scope of work, and the manufacturer programs available at the time. Any specific numbers, timeframes, or warranty examples mentioned anywhere on this website reflect best-case scenarios — typically what's available on a complete system installation under a top-tier manufacturer program. They are illustrations, not promises. The only warranty terms you should rely on for your specific roof are the ones in the written contract you sign with us, plus any manufacturer documentation we provide alongside it.

This website is informational. The numbers, advice, and timelines on the site are based on typical conditions — your house and your project may be different. The only binding pricing or scope you should rely on is what's in a signed contract from us. We're licensed and insured in New Jersey. If something goes wrong on a job, the contract and the warranty are how we make it right.

Limit of our liability for the website itself. Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of this website is limited to $100. That cap doesn't apply to actual roofing work — that's governed by your contract and the warranties attached to it. It also doesn't apply where the law doesn't allow us to limit liability (such as fraud or gross negligence).

If you misuse the site. If you break these terms or misuse this website in a way that creates a problem for us — claims from third parties, costs, legal fees — you agree to cover what it costs us to deal with it. In plain English: don't do bad stuff with this site, and if you do, the cost falls on you, not us.

07 — Updates & Governing Law

Updates, Governing Law, and Fine Print

We may update these terms when our services change, when laws change, or when we realize we could explain something more clearly. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of the page. Material changes — anything that affects your rights or how we handle your project — will be flagged at the top of the terms section.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. If we ever can't resolve a disagreement directly (we'd really rather just talk it out), the dispute will be handled in a New Jersey state or federal court.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable for some reason, the rest of them still apply. These terms, together with your written contract if you hire us, make up the full agreement between us — they replace any earlier conversations or notes about how the website works.
